Know Before You Book

Understanding the Sacred Rituals

A short, honest explanation of our most-requested poojas — what each one is for, and when it is traditionally performed — so you can choose with confidence.

New Home

Griha Pravesh

Performed before you first occupy a new home. The Pujari conducts a Vastu Shanti and havan, sets up the kalash, and purifies the space — clearing negative energies and inviting health, harmony and prosperity for everyone who will live there.

Purnima · Vows

Satyanarayan Pooja

A worship of Lord Vishnu in his Satyanarayan form, usually on a full-moon day, a housewarming, or after a wish is fulfilled. The ritual includes the five-chapter katha and prasad, and is believed to bring truth, contentment and blessings to the household.

New Beginnings

Ganesh Pooja

Lord Ganesha is invoked first in almost every ceremony as the remover of obstacles. Performed before a new business, vehicle, or venture — and as sthapana and visarjan during Ganesh Chaturthi — to ensure a smooth and auspicious start.

Diwali · Fridays

Mahalaxmi Pooja

Dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, the giver of wealth and fortune. Commonly performed on Diwali and Fridays with the Shree Suktam, it invites financial stability, abundance and grace into your home or business.

Grah Dosha

Navagraha Shanti

A pooja to pacify the nine planets (Navagraha) whose positions influence life events. Recommended when a horoscope shows planetary doshas, or before a marriage or major undertaking, to restore balance and reduce obstacles.

Mondays · Shravan

Rudrabhishek

A powerful abhishek of the Shiva Lingam with water, milk, honey and other offerings while chanting the Rudram. Performed on Mondays and during Shravan for health, protection from negativity, and inner peace.

Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book a Pujari?

For everyday poojas, a day or two is usually enough. For weddings, Griha Pravesh and large ceremonies, we recommend booking one to two weeks ahead so we can confirm an auspicious muhurat and arrange all the samagri without a rush.

Do you arrange the pooja samagri, or should we?

Either works. We always share a complete samagri list so nothing is missed, and on request we can bring the full set of materials to you. If you'd prefer to arrange it yourself, we'll guide you on exactly what to buy.

How much does a pooja cost?

It depends on the pooja, its scale, your location and whether samagri is included. There's no fixed price for every ritual — tell us your requirement and we'll give you a clear, upfront quote before you commit.

Can the pooja be performed at my home or another venue?

Yes. Our Pujaris travel to your home, a temple, a banquet hall or any venue you choose. We primarily serve Mumbai and are happy to discuss ceremonies elsewhere in India.

Will the Pujari explain the rituals during the ceremony?

Absolutely. We believe a pooja is more meaningful when you understand it. Our Pujaris explain the purpose and steps in a language your family is comfortable with, so everyone can participate rather than just watch.

Which languages and traditions do you cover?

Our Pujaris perform rituals across several regional traditions and can conduct ceremonies in Hindi and other common languages. Let us know your family's customs and we'll match you with the right Pujari.

Blessings, Arranged with Care

Plan Your Next Pooja with Confidence

Tell us the occasion and your preferred date, and our Pujaris will take care of the rest — so your ceremony is serene, correct and truly memorable.
