Andheri East and West — what we cover

Andheri is two quite different bookings. Andheri West is largely residential — Lokhandwala, Versova, Seven Bungalows, Four Bungalows, Andheri Lokhandwala Back Road, Juhu Circle — and the bulk of what we do there is Griha Pravesh for new flats and annual Satyanarayan pujas. Andheri East brings a different mix: MIDC, SEEPZ, Marol, Chakala, JB Nagar and Sakinaka, where we do a high share of office and shop Vastu Shanti, Diwali chopda pujan, and new-premises ceremonies scheduled before working hours.

Practical notes for Andheri bookings

  • Early muhurats and the Metro/airport corridor. A 6–7 am muhurat in Andheri East is straightforward; the same slot in Andheri West on a weekday needs the pujari to travel before the Andheri subway and Link Road build up. We plan the pujari's start time around it, so tell us the exact muhurat when you book.
  • High-rise societies. Much of new Andheri is tower housing. Book the service lift for the havan samagri, and check whether your society permits an open flame — several newer buildings do not, in which case we perform the accepted lamp-based alternative.
  • Office ceremonies in SEEPZ and MIDC. These usually need gate passes arranged in advance for the pujari. Give us a day's notice and we will send the details you need for security.

Languages and traditions in Andheri

Andheri's mix is genuinely broad, and matching the pujari to the family's tradition matters more here than almost anywhere in Mumbai. We arrange Marathi-speaking Gurujis for Maharashtrian ceremonies, Hindi-speaking North Indian panditjis, and Gujarati purohits — tell us your family's custom when you book rather than after the pujari arrives.
