Our 6-inch gold and silver plated Shree Mahalaxmi murti is the compact form of our flagship premium piece. It is a temple shrine rather than a single idol: Mahalaxmi at the centre with Mahakali on her right and Mahasaraswati on her left, each in her own arched niche beneath a temple canopy worked with domes and flying apsaras, their names cast in Devanagari across the plinths. The goddesses are worked in gold plating against a silver-plated sanctum, with fine hand-detailing in the crowns, jewellery and drapery that catches light from every angle.
Gold-plated Lakshmi idols hold a special place in Indian homes — they are the classic Dhanteras and Diwali purchase, an heirloom-grade griha pravesh gift, and a centrepiece murti for a premium home mandir. This 6-inch size sits comfortably in apartment mandirs and glass-front pooja cabinets.
Every murti is made to order in our Mumbai workshop and hand-finished piece by piece. That is why no two are exactly identical — and why this is a murti that gets passed down, not replaced.
If you are choosing between finishes: our marble-dust Mahalaxmi murtis are vibrant and budget-friendly, while the gold & silver plated line is the premium, gift-grade choice. See both in the shop and read our materials guide if you are unsure.

Plated murtis carry the auspiciousness and radiance of precious metal at a workable price — the classic choice for Dhanteras, Diwali and heirloom gifting. Each of our pieces is plated and then hand-finished in our Mumbai workshop. Compare finishes in our materials guide or browse the full collection.
Three. This is a temple-shrine murti, not a single idol: Mahalaxmi sits at the centre, with Mahakali on her right and Mahasaraswati on her left, each in her own arched niche beneath a temple canopy, their names cast in Devanagari on the plinths. Together they are the three forms of the Devi worshipped in Maharashtrian households. If you would prefer a single seated Lakshmi on a lotus instead, message us — custom sculpting is what our workshop does.
The murti is plated with pure gold and silver over a sculpted base — you get the look and auspiciousness of precious metal at a fraction of a solid-metal price. It is not a solid gold/silver casting.
Use only a soft, dry cloth. Never use water, silver polish or chemicals on plated surfaces — gentle dry wiping keeps the shine for years.
