About this murti

Lord Shiva sits in the abhaya (blessing) posture upon Nandi, his sacred bull, in this serene 24K gold plated murti. The lustrous gold body is offset by a pearl-white dhoti and a finely detailed rudraksha mala, capturing Mahadev's calm, protective grace.

A Shiva-on-Nandi murti is a classic choice for the home mandir — Nandi's presence signifies steadfast devotion, and the seated, blessing Shiva is considered ideal for household worship. The compact size (about 12 × 15 × 12 cm) also suits an office desk or study.

The murti is mounted on a round gold-tone base and hand-finished in our Mumbai workshop. At ₹6,999 it is the most accessible piece in our gold plated line — a favourite for Shravan-month gifting, Mahashivratri, and for anyone beginning a daily Shiva sadhana.

Like all our plated pieces it is made to order, individually finished, and shipped in protective packaging with our safe-arrival guarantee.

Why gold & silver plating?

Plated murtis carry the auspiciousness and radiance of precious metal at a workable price, the classic choice for Dhanteras, Diwali and heirloom gifting. Each piece is plated and then hand-finished in our Mumbai workshop. Plating is a real layer of metal, not solid gold or silver: how gold plating works.

Care

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth only. Keep away from water, perfumes and chemical cleaners to protect the plating.

Is a Shiva murti with Nandi good for home?

Yes — a seated Shiva in blessing posture is traditionally considered ideal for home worship, and Nandi represents unwavering devotion. Many families place it in the mandir or on a work desk for calm focus.

Does the gold plating fade?

With dry-cloth care (no water, perfume or chemicals) the 24K plating keeps its lustre for years. Avoid abhishek on plated murtis — for daily jal-abhishek choose a marble-dust or metal murti instead, and keep this one for shringar darshan.

How is the murti packed and shipped?

Every murti is padded and boxed for safe transit, then shipped across India (flat ₹99, free above ₹5,000). We also ship worldwide — see our shipping policy or message us on WhatsApp for international rates.

What if the murti arrives damaged?

We offer a 30-day return policy with a safe-arrival guarantee. If anything is wrong, send us a photo on WhatsApp (+91 90041 04537) and we will replace it or refund you — details are in our refund policy.
