This Privacy Policy describes how Vishnupriya Arts ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from our website, or otherwise communicate with us (together, the "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly — when you place an order, create an enquiry, request a custom murti, book a pujari, or sign up for our newsletter, you may share:
- Contact details — your name, email address and phone/WhatsApp number.
- Order & delivery details — billing address, shipping address and the items you order.
- Communication details — anything you choose to include in a message, enquiry or review.
Information collected automatically — when you browse the site we may collect basic usage data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location, using cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).
2. Payment Information
Online payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. When you pay by card, UPI or netbanking, your payment details are collected and processed directly by Razorpay under their own security standards and privacy policy. We do not see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking credentials on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfil your orders, arrange delivery, and handle returns, exchanges or refunds.
- To respond to your enquiries, custom-order requests and customer-support messages.
- To send you order updates and, where you have opted in, occasional offers and news about new collections and festivals.
- To keep our Services secure and to detect, prevent or investigate fraud or misuse.
- To meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
4. How We Store & Protect Your Information
Enquiries and order details submitted through our forms are stored using Google Firebase (Firestore), a secure cloud service, and a copy of enquiries may be emailed to our team so we can respond. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive information over unsecured channels.
5. Cookies
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as items in your cart), keep the site working correctly, and understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can adjust your browser settings to remove or block them. Blocking cookies may affect some features, such as your shopping cart.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary, with:
- Service providers who help us run the business — for example our payment processor (Razorpay), courier and logistics partners (to deliver your order), cloud/hosting and email providers (Google Firebase).
- Authorities, where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
These partners are permitted to use your information only to provide their service to us.
7. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy — for example, to complete your order, provide support, and meet accounting and legal requirements — after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete your personal information, where we are not required to keep it.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
